Introduction

The MMP program is for thermic and hydraulic calculation of plate heat exchangers.

For both media, it is assumed that they flow through the plate heat exchanger in one phase (liquid/liquid, gaseous/gaseous, liquid/gaseous).

The calculation of the heat transfer and of the pressure loss is based on the theoretical fundamentals of the VDI Heat Atlas.

The H2O module including the steam tables according to the „International Association for Properties of Steam (IAPS) “, provides the values for water and steam.

The properties for further given substances are included in separate modules. For all other media the properties have to be defined by the user.
