Operation and variables
Recommended input order
- Select the variant. Cylinder = bauform 1, sphere = bauform 2. MCP clients set
variantorbauformin the fill plan and do not write V38. - Enter geometry and loads. Diameter, temperature, operating pressure, test pressure, wall thickness and cylinder length.
- Select the material. It must provide K and K' at the current conditions.
- Review coefficients. S, S', v, c1, c2 and density must not be copied uncritically.
- Calculate and assess. Check calculation success and warnings, then compare V1 with V9 and review V36/V37.
Core inputs
| Var | Key | Unit | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| V2 | outsideDiameter | mm | outside diameter |
| V24 | temperature | °C | controls material strength |
| V3 / V16 | pressure / testPressure | bar | not MPa |
| V22 | material | LV ID | use material server |
| V9 | wallThickness | mm | executed thickness |
| V10 | length | mm | required for cylinders |
Calculated values are read-only
V1, V18, V19, V27, V31, V34, V35, V36 and V37 are results or derived values. A client must never set them as inputs.
